2nd June 2017 BusinessWise meeting

Great start to June. We have a fantastic guest speak next week – Mark Lever of the National Autistic Society – if you are interested in hearing his talk please get in touch and come along to the meeting as a visitor.

This week Mark Holmes of Arthur J Gallagher Insurance gave his 10 minutes on informing us of the perils of being under insured. Mike Lloyd of Haines Watts Swindon presented the education slot, talking about how to ask people for referrals.

The best 60 seconds was won by Lauren Reynolds of ActionCoach and the door prize was presented to Stuart McNeil of Bevirs Solicitors.

A special mention must also go out to Lis McDermott, Headshot Diva, for receiving the award for being the best contributor in May – well done Lis!

Fantastic end to the month with 12 qualified referrals being passed between members.

The best 60 seconds was won by Fiona Scott of Fiona Scott Media Consultancy and the door prize was presented to Stuart McNeil of Bevirs Solicitors.

Nigel Pursall of Orange Stripe Telecom gave a great education slot and Nick Ruddle, Nick Ruddle Film, talked about the film making process in his 10 minutes.

Another productive week at Businesswise. Jason Parrington, JP IT Solutions, gave a great education slot on keeping ourselves up to date.

Jerry Thornton, Thornton Associates Ltd, presented his 10 minutes, with great pictures, about his building surveying business.

The best 60 seconds was won by Sam Whittingham of Corporate Cakery and the Door Prize was given to Jason Parrington.

12th May 2017 BusinessWise Growth by referral

Lis McDermott, Headshot Diva, presented the education slot on the difference between a referral, lead and a connection.

Mick Haren of Sandymount Construction gave a great 10 minutes on his building and maintenance services.

The best 60seconds was won by Jason Parrington of JP IT Solutions.

Neil Bainbridge of Ashcox and Stone informed us all for every valuation Ashcox and Stone completes he will donate £20 to the Swindon Night Shelter.
