BusinessWise 1st meeting of 2017

Great start to the new year with a very lively morning meeting.

Lis McDermott Headshot Diva had two guests attend, Sara Archer from Lemon Squeeze and Emma from Animate That.

Helena Griffiths provided a great 10 minutes on her business Gardens by Helena and presented the door price to Fiona Scott of Fiona Scott Media Consultancy.

Paul Eagles, in the education slot, talked about the difference between a lead and a referral, and how to ensure we pass good qualified referrals between group members.

The best contributor to the group in December 2016 was Clare Fuller of Hamilton Grace Ltd.

Even though it was the first meeting after the Christmas and New Year break, £6085 of business was passed between members.

A great last meeting of the BusinessWise group for 2016.

Sam Whittingham, The Corporate Cakery, made some lovely cakes for us all.

We also made an effort to wear Christmas jumpers, as modeled by Paul Eagles and Fiona Scott.

Neil Bainbridge of Aschox and Stone Estate Agents presented a great ten minutes. Dawn Prosser of Gateway Furniture delivered an interesting education slot.

A special mention goes out to Lis McDermott, Headshot Diva, for winning the best 60 seconds for singing a lovely BusinessWise Christmas themed song!

9th December BusinessWise meeting review

Fiona Scott, Fiona Scott Media Consultancy, arranged a guest speaker – Jane Evans International speaker, Trainer and Author.

Sam Whittingham presented a great education slot, highlighting the sectors available in BusinessWise. Keep watching our Facebook and Twitter pages to see if your category is available.

15 qualified business referrals were passed between members, fantastic as we are in the run up to Christmas.

£29,634.32 of business was invoiced between members last week – well done everybody!

BusinessWise meeting on 25th November 2016

Another great meeting was held, with 17 qualified business referrals passed between members.

Sam Whittingham of Corporate Cakery presented the best 60 seconds price to Lauren Reynolds of Action Coach.

Nigel Pursall of Orange Stripe Telecoms gave us a great talk on the future of the telecoms market.

It was good to meet Calum Costello of Jackie Kerr Recruitment, a quest of Lorraine Stevens, HR4Business.

Neil Bainbrigde of Ashcox and Stone won the door prize, presented by Nigel Pursall the 10 minute speaker.

A special mention needs to go to Alison Buck of Rosemary Bookkeeping who won the ‘Champion of Business 2016’ award from Rosemary Bookkeeping, for her great support of the business.
